Eaton Named one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by FORTUNE

Johannesburg … Power management company Eaton, were recently named one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by FORTUNE magazine.
 
FORTUNE’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies is based on company surveys and peer ratings from top executives, directors and members of the financial community. They rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent.
 
“We are incredibly honoured to be recognised among the World’s Most Admired Companies for the outstanding work our employees do every day to improve the quality of life and the environment through our power management products and services,” said Craig Arnold, Eaton Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
 
Within the electronics category, surveyed respondents recognised Eaton as an industry leader for social responsibility. Eaton ranked second in its category for people management and quality of management.
 
“This recognition is a reflection of our commitment to building an extraordinary work environment and culture that places people at the centre, from the transformative power management products and tailored service solutions we deliver, to the long-term relationships we build with our clients.
